【摘要】:Thisguidedefinespossiblesourcesoferrorindosimetryperformedingamma,x-ray(bremsstrahlung)andelectronirradiationfacilitiesandoffersproceduresforestimatingtheresultingmagnitudeoftheuncertaintiesinthemeasurementresults.Basicconceptsofmeasurement,estimateofthemeasuredvalueofaquantity,"true"value,erroranduncertaintyaredefinedanddiscussed.Componentsofuncertaintyarediscussedandmethodsaregivenforevaluatingandestimatingtheirvalues.Howthesecontributetothestandarduncertaintyinthereportedvaluesofabsorbeddoseareconsideredandmethodsaregivenforcalculatingthecombinedstandarduncertaintyandanestimateofoverall(expanded)uncertainty.ThemethodologyforevaluatingcomponentsofuncertaintyfollowsISOprocedures.Thetraditionalconceptsofprecisionandbiasarenotused.Examplesaregiveninfiveappendixes.Thisguideassumesaworkingknowledgeofstatistics.Severalstatisticaltextsareincludedinthereferences(1,2,3,4).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
