【摘要】:ThispartofISO1183specifiesthreemethodsforthedeterminationofthedensityofnon-cellularplasticsintheformofvoid-freemouldedorextrudedobjects,aswellaspowders,flakesandgranules.—MethodA:Immersionmethod,forsolidplastics(exceptforpowders)invoid-freeform.—MethodB:Liquidpyknometermethod,forparticles,powders,flakes,granulesorsmallpiecesoffinishedparts.—MethodC:Titrationmethod,forplasticsinanyvoid-freeform.NOTEThispartofISO1183isapplicabletopelletsaslongastheyarevoid-free.Densityisfrequentlyusedtofollowvariationsinphysicalstructureorcompositionofplasticmaterials.Densitymayalsobeusefulinassessingtheuniformityofsamplesorspecimens.Oftenthedensityofplasticmaterialswilldependuponthechoiceofspecimenpreparationmethod.Whenthisisthecase,precisedetailsofthespecimenpreparationmethodwillhavetobeincludedintheappropriatematerialspecification.Thisnoteisapplicabletoallthreemethods.
